NEWS FROM AROUND ULSTER AND A FAR

We would encourage news and comment from across Northern Ireland and beyond.  All news and commentary must be coherent and decent or it will not be published.  Trolls and false identities are not welcome.

  1. Its a shocking state of affairs. It always seems that it is the Protestant people who are hammered. This has always been the case and I don’t think it will ever change. Its sad that those who are loyal to the state are being treated like this, while those opposed to the state are elevated and now sit in government, and their followers are untouchable.

    • As the Catholics marched for their civil rights in the 60s and 70s due to religious discrimination, have the Protestants in Northern Ireland considered doing the same thing? For example, the flag issue would be one obvious grievance?

  2. I fear for this, It’s happening all over the so called free world. Police are becoming more aggressive all over.there has to be a reason. It seems that it’s the people who are loyal to the country they are in, that’s getting the brunt of it.The media are all pumping out the governments point of view, and I wonder was the Murdock trial just to bring his company into line with them, and to show the rest of the Media what will happen if they don’t tow the line.
